Bean Bangalow is an excellent newly introduced handpick bean variety. This prolific variety is best suited to cooler production areas, where high plant vigour is needed. The colour of the pod is lighter green and is Summer Death resistant and has excellent disease tolerance. The pods are 14cm long and 9-10mm wide. It is a pubescent style of bean with an excellent taste and shelf life.

This bean is an incredible variety for farmers markets or anyone who directly engages with their customers. A fantastic type for the home gardeners too!

Sowing time - Spring after danger of frost has passed and early summer. Prefer sunny position, sow 3cm deep, emerge 7-10 days at 18-30oC. Harvest in approx. 58-65 days.
