This is the 11th Edition in Kilchoman's 100% Islay series and it represents the revival of traditional farm distilling: growing their own barley before malting, distilling, maturing and bottling every bottle of their 100% Islay range on site.
The 100% Islay 11th Edition was distilled from 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 barley harvests and was matured in 26 bourbon barrels and 7 oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of 9 years.

Nose: Intense floral sweetness gives way to layers of rich spices, plums, dates and leather.

Taste: Grilled fruit, mild spices, malt and vanilla.

Finish: Waves of clean fresh peat smoke and citrus sweetness.
