Grip Safe With Protex™
There’s nothing worse than having to let your food go cold because you can’t hold onto your bowl/plate/cup. Traditionally, to get around this, bulky insulation was needed or you would have to use a tea towel etc. as a barrier between your hand and the vessel. The Protex pattern base is the solution to this issue. By drastically reducing the surface area your hand comes into contact with, and creating little pockets of air between you and the vessel, heat transfer changes from conduction (highly efficient transfer) to convection (highly inefficient). This means you can now hold onto the base of your bowl/plate or cup and not burn your hand.
