Brand new for Macallan (as of 2017) and replacing the 1824 range, is the "Quest" series, scheduled for Travel Retail only. Four expressions (Quest, Lumina, Terra and Enigma ) aim at highlighting a sensory journey that is Macallan's "passionate and tireless quest for oak".

This is the first significant change to the stable in seven years. "For this character-led range, the liquids are phenomenal," said Nick Savage, master distiller.
